My Favourite Autumn/Winter Lipsticks

Happy Saturday everyone! First of all I just wanted to start off by explaining my recent absence. I decided to take a week off and visit my family for Halloween, I needed to unwind and reset my mind ready for the holiday season. And now that I'm fully rested and full of inspiration I decided to kick things off with a few of my favourite lipsticks.

As you know I'm not the boldest person, I like to keep my daily makeup fairly neutral. But there is something about the crisp cold air that gives me a burst of energy and confidence.  I have three favourites, all very different but equally loved.

Lets start off with the least out there and work our way up shall we?

The Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick in Bewitching Coral 827* - £7.99, is a beautiful warmed toned pink. This really stands out against fresh natural looking skin and a flush of rosy cheeks. The formula lasts on my lips for around 3 to 4 hours and fades quite nicely in-between reapplications. No dry patches here!

The L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick in Scarlett Creme 461* - £6.99, my classic red. This formula is enriched with Omega-3 oils and Vitamin E to help prevent your lips from drying. The texture is soft and creamy which leaves lips my feeling moisturised, perfect for a winter pick me up.

The Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Starry-Eyed 128* - £4.99,  looked terrifying to me at first. I had never worn a lipstick this dark in my life but it became a staple in my collection. In some lights it can look like a deep burgundy and in others it's a dark purple. I try to pull certain looks out of it by experimenting with different colours on the eyes. Either way, I can always rely on this formula to hold up for at least 5-6 hours.

What are your favourite autumn winter lipsticks? Do you have any specific shades that you can manipulate to suit certain looks?
