Feeling Like A Fairy | Currently Loving

I haven't written a 'Currently Loving' post for so long, I feel like I have so much to show you! But instead of bombarding you all, I've decided to break it down and this post just happened to be exclusively makeup. Yay!

Firstly I need to start with the mac daddy of all favourites, the bareMinerals Original SPF 15 Foundation - £26.00. If you haven't tried this I suggest you go to your nearest counter right now and get a sample. I use a tinted moisturiser, then buff this into the skin and I'm left with a medium to full coverage finish. My skin doesn't feel heavy or cakey but I will admit sometimes when I've been heavy handed I can look a bit too powdery. After a couple of spritzes of the Orico London Streetwise Coco Spritz my skin looks flawless, healthy and ready to take on the day!

On the eyes I've been wearing one of two looks exclusively. My more everyday option is the Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr Cream Eyeshadow in Creamy Beige* - £4.99. This is fantastic worn underneath powder shadows as this does not budge, it's my go to 'eye primer'. But I love this shade simply by itself swiped over the lip and blended out into the crease.

As my something special option I've been obsessed with MAC Idol Eyes* - £13.00 all over the lid and MAC Nylon* - £13.00 to define the brow bone, inner corners and just lightly on the centre of the lid. Oh my goodness this combination makes me feel like a fairy and I love it! Idol Eyes is a silvered violet with a pale gold shimmer whereas Nylon is a pale gold with an icy shimmer and my go to highlight shade. It's like they were made for each other.

And finally a mascara that I have a love hate relationship with. The Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes™ Statement Mascara - $23.00. I'm currently loving it. (eh? eh?) It's great, it works. It lengthens my lashes, it's super black, holds a hold reasonably well and people always comment on my lashes when I use this. But the brush is just so darn big! I poke myself in the eye with it, there are blobs of mascara all over my face, it's just a nightmare to use but so worth it!

What makeup have you been loving recently? Do you have a love hate product?
