Another Reason To Love M&S | LOLA Make-Up by Perse

One thing that you may not know about me, is that I love Marks and Spencers. I love the warm smell of fresh bread in the food hall, their amazing staff for helping me find the perfect bra and now their exclusive makeup range, LOLA Make-Up by Perse.

In case like me, you had never heard of it before. LOLA Make-Up by Perse is a British designed make-up range at selected M&S Beauty stores and online. They stock everything from nail varnish to blushers, make up brushes and false eyelashes.

So how did I stumble across LOLA in the first place? I was in the M&S beauty section and I spotted  some bits in the sale, so I picked up a few autumnal shades and voila!

The first thing I spotted was the Satin Eyeshadow in 042 Pinky Bronze - £10.00 £3.00. The formula is super pigmented and buttery soft. It looks beautiful swiped across the lid and blended out with a matte dark brown shade. I was weary about this against my cool toned skin but somehow it works.

Conveniently there was only two shades of nail polish, and both were autumn friendly as well as Gemma friendly. 021 Red Night and 027 Sweetheart - £8.00 £2.00 each. They look gorgeous when worn together and alone. I love a shiny nail and these have an ultra shine formula as well as being relatively quick drying. The brush is quite thin but the polish glides onto the nail so effortlessly that even a novice would need minimal clean up.

And finally the pièce de résistance! The False Lashes in 06 Lash Define - £2.00. These aren't available online and I'm not entirely sure how much there were prior to the reduction. But boy are they beautiful. Now I have long lashes anyway, but to thicken up the outer corners I like to pop on a few individuals. There are four rows of 15, and they gradually increase in length, perfect!

As you can see from the photos above, even without eyeliner these are virtually undetectable. Which is great for an eyeliner noob like myself.

From what I've tried of this range I may be in love. It's not the cheapest at full price and there isn't a lot to choose from in terms of products but at least I now know that it works for me. Next time I'm in store I will definitely be swatching their highlighter, blush and matte lipsticks.

Have you tried LOLA Make-UP by Perse? What do you think of the shades I picked up?
