My New Love Affair With Gloss | NYX Butter Glosses

It's only recently that I've become a fan of the brighter lip. And only now have I really appreciated the NYX Butter Glosses - £6.50. You probably remember every Beauty Guru raving about these a few years ago. I finally picked up a couple last year and oh my goodness, what took me so long?!

They're non-sticky, have no shimmer or glitter. Which for me is strange, as I like to feel like a fairy most of the time. Maybe it's their versatility, they can be worn alone or over a lipstick to intensify the colour. Oh and did I mention they're non-sticky?

The two shades that I have are Cupcake 18, a typical barbie bright pink, and Peach Cobbler 06, a bright peachy red. The formula is seriously silky smooth, almost like butter but weightless. And they smell so delicious you'll want to eat them!

One coat leaves a creamy sheer wash of colour, whilst two intensifies it. Be cautious though, it may be as soft as butter but the colour pigment will cling to any dry patches. I like to apply lip balm and then exfoliate with a sugar scrub before applying these.

Having a doe foot applicator makes these super quick and easy to apply. And even easier to find, the individual packaging is true to shade. Which makes these a beautiful addition to your vanity table when lined up. Like a beautiful lippy rainbow.

After having a browse online I'm dying to add a few softer shades to my collection. Angel Food Cake is a beautiful classic light pink and Praline is oh my goodness the softest natural nude. The names are adorable, it makes me want to collect them all!

Have you tried any of the NYX Butter Glosses? Which Beauty Guru inspired products have you fallen in love with?
