When the weather is British you need to have products on hand to help you along the way. Through blistering winds, pouring rain and the odd apocalyptic storm or two. It's been a crazy week, at times I definitely considered wrapping myself up in bed and hibernating till spring. But here I am, fresh as a daisy and these are a few things that blew life into me!

Of course we all clean out brushes weekly! Well at least make a goal to do so. I find it so hard I find the time to deep clean, so when I got my hands on the No7 Makeup Brush Cleaner I felt like a great weight had been lifted. Use every week or when changing products. Just pump onto a piece of kitchen towl and swirl your brushes around on top. It's as simple as that! It's still reccomended that you give the entire set a deep clean at least every month, but that gives me enough time to watch The Carrie Diaries on my days off. What could be better than that, for under £10 a bottle that's made anyone's day!

The Lush Brazened Honey Face Mask is a product that I constantly repurchase. It's just what I need for a mid week pick me up. Who says that you can only pamper on the weekends? I pat this over my skin whenever I need some TLC, mostly on Mondays or sometimes even Wednesdays. You know that 'the weekend is so far away' feeling!

The "Fresh fennel, ginger root, parsley and coriander will detox and stimulate, whilst their enzymes will help break down dead skin cells, leaving your skin looking clean and revived." - Lush

As much as I live in gloves - even more so now that I have magical iGloves - I always seem to get dry hands. Working in retail takes it's toll during the colder months, air conditioning dries the skin, as well as hours of touching fabric! It's fingertip suicicde and should be looked out for. My weapon of choice is the Origins Make a Difference Rejuvinating Hand Treatment. No stick or ick, this quickly soaks into the skin and leaves your hands silky smooth. There is a slight smell of latex, but only some people can spot it, others completely disagree. But don't worry the scent doesn't stick around for long.

Everyone has the one products that changes everything. Mine is mascara, when half my makeup has rubbed off, blemishes on show, pale and tired I always know that a long fluttery lash can make all the difference. The MaxFactor False Lash Effect Mascara lengthens and  volumises my lashes, opening my eyes and ultimately improving my misfortunes. This is constant in my handbag, just in case I need a touch up. That's the only down side, one shift at work and I have speckily black patches under my eyes. Which reminds me, I need to try the waterproof version.

So there we have it, the few products that all deserve a medal for keeping me alive and sane! What have your favorite products been this month? Do you use a brush cleaner or religiously deep clean your brushes?
