Illamasqua Reflection Palette

Ive never been a great lover of eye makeup, until I really starting to get into reading beauty blogs. After a while of fantasy indulging I've become more experimental and have taken the plunge. Palettes are my go to purchases at the moment. And Illamasqua has been a brand that I've wanted to try for years, but after umming and uhhing at blushers and nail polish I finally made my first purchase. The Illamasqua Reflection Palette.

This baby has four extremely pigmented shades complete with a new water resistant formula that gives them an almost cream/powder hybrid texture. Using a fluffy brush these can be swept over the lid and blended out to create a smokey eye, alternatively you can pack them onto an angled brush and use them to define the lash line. The most important things I question with an eyeshadow, does it last and does it crease? These in fact do last, all day everyday and keep in place as if you've used a primer! I have never been so impressed with any other formula, I've even reached for this more than my MAC palette. Honestly! The shades included are Precipice (a soft lemon), Acute (an ash taupe), Graphica (a graphite grey) and Dart (a toasted bronze). Each one compliments each other and blends perfectly to create an effortless look. This look took a total of 10 minutes, maybe a bit less. It's that easy! If your going to buy anything this Autumn, this should be at the top of your list!

Have you tried anything from Illamasqua? How do you feel about long lasting/waterproof eye makeup?
