Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick ft Fuchsia

I briefly mentioned this in my Bank Holiday Haul post. After chucking Soap and Glory's Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Fuchsia into my handbag i found myself getting a lot more use out of this than i thought. It's so easy to apply you don't need a mirror, and i found myself using this in the back of taxi's and before a night out for a pop of colour.

After a few combos i found that this product can work in two ways. A single or even a double coat will give you a sheer baby doll pink (left in photo) which i found to be a natural coat of colour that almost looked 'balmy'. A few coat's on top of this (right in photo) and you are left with a bright standing fuchsia which gave off a more 'gloss look' than a balm. This can withstand wind and doesn't hold onto your hair like cement, which is what i hate with most glosses. I definitely like the formula of the gloss stick's than the original gloss. It twists like a Chapstick which i love and the lid is strong enough withstand the battles in the bottom of your bag. The only thing i would improve is it's staying power, although i have no problem reapplying throughout the day as this smells divine! I will definitely be keeping this in my handbag now that the sun is out.

How do you feel about gloss stick's? Have you tried any from other brands?

  1. Gloss sticks have become my go-to lip product because they're so easy to apply and they stay on! I'm going to have to go search for the S&G Gloss Stick because it looks beautiful!
