S/S Nail Varnish Favorites

In my case spring/summer can show in two variations depending on my mood. In one case i prefer soft pastel shades with 'barely there' makeup and in the other i go for strong, bright colours and the 'beach look'. Both i adore and tend to dip in and out of quite frequently. My main staple when it comes to these changes are my nails. And these are two very different ways to achieving these looks.

First up is my most recent polish purchase, Chanel  Le Vernis in Holiday. This gorgeous colour is the perfect combination of orange and red. Blood orange in it's purest form. Its brush applicator coats the nail in two or three strokes and your good to go. I particularly find this easier to remove than most polishes. Its counter part is the old formulation on Barry M's Cobalt Blue, as you can see from the photograph this little number has been in my stock for a while now, but i always resort back to it. These colours work great together and really hit it off with a tan!

Next up is part of the notorious Barry M Hi Shine Gelly Collection, and my current favourite, Greenberry. The formula is quite think and can sometimes be a tad tricky to manage, but as long and you wipe the excess of before application you are good to go! This colour works great with floral prints and as a stand alone statement colour, & Other Stories have some great clutches in a similar shade! It's counter part is Revlon's Sweet Tart. I haven't seen this shade on counters recently, but i know its available online. Its a vibrant shade of cream pink that at first glance could borderline neon depending on your skin tone. Its formulation is quite thin but a couple of coats does the job and the overall lasting power is near on a week when using a decent top coat. I love using this when im feeling extra girly and it shows!

What are your favorite spring/summer polishes? And have you tried to new Barry M Gelly spring colours?
